We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Fitter to support the maintenance, repair, and optimisation of our mast‑climber fleet. This role suits someone who enjoys varied mechanical work, problem‑solving, and keeping critical equipment running safely and efficiently.

About the Role

You will be responsible for mechanical servicing, fault‑finding, and overhaul work across our fleet of mast climbers, including detailed work on Nord gear‑motor units (specifically Nord Drivesystem series gear motors and gearboxes used in mast‑climbing drive assemblies). The role includes general mechanical duties, workshop tasks, and on‑site fleet maintenance.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform mechanical servicing, inspections, and repairs on mast climber units

• Overhaul and maintain Nord Drivesystem series gear‑motor gearboxes and drive systems

• Diagnose mechanical faults and complete corrective actions

• Conduct routine fleet maintenance

• Maintain accurate service records and follow safety and compliance procedures

• Work collaboratively with the operations and maintenance teams to ensure equipment readiness

About You

• Trade‑qualified Mechanical Fitter (or equivalent)

• Experience with industrial gear‑motor systems — Nord Drivesystem series preferred

• Strong mechanical aptitude

• Comfortable working across workshop and site environments

• A proactive, safety‑focused approach

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
