About the department
The Surgical Liaison Nurse (SLN) is part of the Planned Surgery and Endoscopy Access Team within the Division of Surgery, Anaesthesia and Procedural Medicine (SAPM). The SAPM Division is responsible for over 50,000 planned surgical procedures per year being delivered to the community serviced by Austin Health.
About the role
We have an opportunity for a full time and part time Surgical Liaison Nurse to join our team. The Planned Surgical Liaison Nurse is responsible for the management and coordination of patients on the Planned Surgery Preparation List. This role is primarily based at Austin Hospital but does move between Austin and the Repatriation campus.
