Cabinet Maker Leading Hand

We are a small Cabinet Making business in the Bayside suburb of Mentone looking for someone to come and join our team. The houses we work in are around Toorak, Brighton, Mornington Peninsula and Caulfield. So we don't have to travel far to site.

Shadowline Joinery is fully booked until mid 2027 with some amazing houses we will be working on.

Also if you are looking for flexible hours look no further. We also finish early on Friday so you can rest up and have a fun filled weekend and be replenished for work come Monday.

We are looking for someone with a minimum 4 years experience in Cabinet Making.

What you will be required to be able to do. 

-This job is on the tools while keeping an eye on factory staff. There are 2 apprentices and 4 Cabinet Makers. Most times only 3 staff on the factory floor.

- Understand all jobs on the factory floor.

-Keeping factory safe and tidy and stock levels under control.

-Work off drawings and constructing all types of custom joinery for domestic houses.

-Operate panel saw, edge bander and work on CNC. Training provided for CNC but most likely others will do this.

-Work closely with our small team.

-Some installation of joinery on site. This must not be an issue.

-Work with most materials. Solid timber, veneer, all different types of boards. Any acrylic and metal work experience would be great.

-Drive small work truck to site if required.

-White card.

Fork loft licence would be great.
