Your Opportunity

Are you passionate about supporting the health, safety and wellbeing of children in a caring school environment?

We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Primary Student Services Officer (First Aid) to join our Primary Team. In this role, you will provide high-quality first aid and health support to students, respond to medical needs throughout the school day, and work collaboratively with staff and families to promote student wellbeing.

This is a permanent position — 6.5 hours per day, 4 days per week (Monday to Thursday) during school terms. An hourly rate of pay between $35.21 and $38.03 (LVL3 School Officers Award) commensurate with candidate experience and qualifications is offered.

Commencement date: Monday, 14 September 2026 (or as negotiated with the successful candidate).

Your Role

• Provide first aid and immediate care to students who become unwell or injured during the school day.
• Administer medication and support students with individual health management plans.
• Maintain accurate first aid records and student health documentation.
• Monitor and maintain first aid supplies and equipment.
• Liaise professionally with parents, carers and staff regarding student health and wellbeing.
• Work collaboratively with the Primary Team to promote a safe, supportive and caring school environment.
• Participate in a spiritually vibrant culture aligned with the College's Christian mission and values.

About You

• Practicing Christian with the ability to actively support and promote the College’s Mission, Vision and Values.
• Passionate about student health and wellbeing with experience providing first aid.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships.
• Highly organised, adaptable and able to manage competing priorities.
• Strong administrative and digital skills, including proficiency in Google Workspace and Microsoft Office; experience with Schoolbox and TASS is highly regarded.
• Professional, reliable, proactive and committed to working collaboratively.
• Required:
• Paid Working With Children Check (Blue Card) (essential)
• First Aid, CPR, Asthma & Anaphylaxis certifications (essential).
