Chef & Cook Join GIOCONDO PTY LTD as a Full-Time (38-40 hours per week) Chef / Cook. We’re looking for passionate Chefs and Cooks to prepare high-quality gluten-free products in a clean, safe production environment. Chef Duties and Responsibilities:

• Plan, coordinate, and oversee the preparation and cooking of gluten-free food products in accordance with company recipes, quality standards, and dietary requirements.
• Develop, test, and refine recipes to maintain consistency across production batches and meet customer preferences.
• Supervise kitchen and production staff, ensuring correct use of equipment, adherence to cooking procedures, and compliance with food safety protocols.
• Monitor production processes, making adjustments to optimise efficiency, quality, and compliance with food manufacturing regulations.
• Oversee portioning, packaging, and labelling to preserve product quality and ensure accurate presentation.
• Maintain preparation, cooking, and storage areas to the highest standards of hygiene and organisation.
• Manage inventory by tracking stock levels, ordering supplies, and verifying quality and accuracy of deliveries.
• Lead the creation of new products or variations, incorporating innovation, seasonal offerings, and market trends.
• Train and mentor staff to uphold quality, safety, and operational standards across all stages of production.
• Collaborate with management to plan production schedules, meet deadlines, and improve workflow efficiency.

Requirements

• Relevant Qualification or 3 years of experience in lieu of the qualification.
• At least 1 year of experience in the relevant role.
• A can-do attitude and ability of working independently.

Position: Full Time Salary: $70,000 - $90,000 per year Location: Unit 21b/2 Powell St, Osborne Park WA 6017 Cook Duties and Responsibilities:

• Prepare gluten-free food products in accordance with company recipes and quality standards
• Operate and monitor production equipment to ensure consistent cooking results
• Handle ingredients and finished goods in a safe manner, preventing cross-contamination of allergens
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in all preparation, cooking, and storage areas
• Accurately measure, mix, and cook batches following set production procedures
• Assist in portioning, packaging, and labelling products for distribution
• Monitor stock levels and assist with ordering ingredients and packaging supplies
• Inspect deliveries to ensure they meet required quality and safety standards
