Do you love books, bookstores, libraries and storytelling?
We’re looking for a proactive, organised and social media-savvy Community Manager to help us grow one of the world’s most recognised literary media brands.
1000 Libraries is followed by 1.8+ million book lovers worldwide, reaching over 30 million people every month through inspiring stories about books, libraries, bookstores and literary travel.This isn’t a traditional customer service role.
You’ll become the heartbeat of our community - building relationships with readers, bookstores, libraries, tourism boards, creators and brand partners around the world.

What You’ll Do
💛 Customer Experience & EcommerceYou’ll be the first point of contact for our global community.Manage customer support for our online store via GorgiasProcess and manage Shopify ordersSupport Amazon, Etsy and Faire marketplacesHandle returns, exchanges and customer enquiriesEnsure every customer has an exceptional experience
🤝 Partnerships & Founder SupportWork directly with the Founder to grow the literary travel media business.Book appointments with partnersCoordinate meetings and follow-upsManage CRM and partnership pipelineAssist with relationship management
📚 Wholesale & Bookstore OutreachHelp bring our products into more bookstores around the world.Reach out to bookstores and retailersManage wholesale enquiriesCoordinate bookstore collaborationsMaintain retailer relationships
🌟 Creator & Influencer CampaignsHelp manage campaigns with book creators, influencers and bookstores. Source relevant creators.Coordinate gifting campaignsManage campaign deliverablesBuild long-term relationships
