Project Manager - Commercial & Residential Construction

Our client is a well-established Australian Head Contractor and Property Developer with an outstanding reputation built over nearly thirty five years. Renowned for delivering bespoke and high-quality projects ranging from $25M to $150M+ they have consistently grown through repeat business, driven by their multi-award-winning projects, excellent client reputation and meticulous attention to detail.

As they continue to expand and due to a number of new project wins, they are seeking experienced Project Managers / Senior Project Managers to oversee and deliver newly awarded projects across Sydney, including the Inner West, West, South, CBD, East, and North / North West. These new projects range from $50M to $100M and span various sectors including:

• Residential (Luxury, Medium & High Density) and Mixed-use Residential 

• Commercial New Build projects such as Schools, Hospitals, Hotels, Office Blocks, Retail Centre, Leisure Precincts and Data Centres

• Major Structural Refurbishments / Repurposing projects and Industrial projects

Some of the Key Requirements include:

• Minimum eight years of post-graduate experience as a Senior Project Engineer, Assistant Project Manager, Project Manager, or Senior Project Manager

• Tertiary qualifications in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or Building / Construction (Degree, Advanced Diploma, or Diploma)

• Proven experience in residential, commercial construction, or structural refurbishment / major fitout projects

• Strong expertise in project management, planning, programming, contract administration, design management, and client relationship management

• Excellent leadership and communication skills with a track record of successfully managing site-based teams, subcontractors, and client relationships
