The Opportunity

We have an exciting opportunity for a skilled and compassionate Paediatric Speech Pathologist to join the Monarch team. In this role, you will be a core member of our multidisciplinary assessment team, contributing your expertise in speech, language, and social communication to comprehensive neurodiverse diagnostic evaluations for children aged 2–18 years.

What You Will Be Doing

•       Conducting speech, language, and communication assessments as part of multidisciplinary evaluations, using tools such as the ADOS-2, CELF-5, PLS-5, and VABS-3

•       Assessing social communication, pragmatic language, play skills, and AAC needs

•       Contributing to multidisciplinary diagnostic formulations and team discussions

•       Writing comprehensive, high-quality assessment reports with clear recommendations

•       Providing feedback and guidance to families in a warm, accessible manner

•       Liaising with schools, early childhood services, and community providers

About You

•       Degree in Speech Pathology and Certified Practicing Membership of Speech Pathology Australia (or eligibility)

•       Experience in paediatric speech pathology, with an interest in neurodevelopmental assessment

•       Strong knowledge of speech and language development and social communication

•       Excellent report writing and communication skills

•       ADOS-2 training is an advantage but not required.

•       Current Working with Children Check and Police Check (or willingness to obtain)
