Assistant Accountant / Automotive Deal Processing Clerk

Blood Motor Group is a well-established group of dealerships located in Geelong and Melbourne.

A position has recently become available for an Automotive Deal Processing Clerk based at our Blood Toyota dealership.

Reporting directly to the Dealership accountant, the successful applicant’s key role will be responsibility for:

Administrative finalization of vehicle sales including:

• Document Processing: Accurately preparing and reviewing sales contracts, financing agreements, and insurance documents for new and used vehicles.

• Compliance & Licensing: Ensuring all transactions comply with VicRoads regulations and dealership policies.

• Record Keeping: Organizing, filing, and maintaining accurate vehicle sale records for auditing purposes.

Other duties will include:

·         Managing all areas of account receivable including following up customer queries and outstanding invoices

·         Perform Balance Sheet reconciliations as required

·         Managing documentation related to wholesale vehicle acquisition and disposal processing

·         Occasional reception coverage

·         Administrative tasks as required

Skills and experience

To be successful, you will possess the following skills and experience:

·         You will have completed a qualification in accounting or have substantial experience in an accounting role

·         Previous experience in an automotive administrative, compliance, or dealership "deal processing" role is highly regarded

·         High level of accuracy in data entry and contract review

·         Excellent organisation and time management skills

·         Ability to work autonomously

·         Ability to handle multiple transactions simultaneously and meet strict deadlines

·         Good written and verbal communication a must

·         Strong interpersonal skills to liaise between staff and across various departments.
