About the role
The role
We are seeking an experienced Accounts Receivable/ Assistant Accountant to join our Finance team and play a key role in delivering accurate and timely financial processing across the CERA Group, including Centre for Eye Research Australia, CERA Foundation and Cerulea.
This is a varied role combining end-to-end Accounts Receivable responsibilities with key Assistant Accountant functions. You will manage invoicing, donation and bequest processing, debtor management, collections and bank reconciliations, while also supporting general accounting activities including journals, accruals, fixed assets, leases and supplier payment runs.
Working within a small and collaborative Finance team, you will also provide support across Accounts Payable and shared finance processes, including maintaining the finance inbox and providing team coverage when required.
This role would suit a proactive and detail-oriented finance professional who enjoys variety, can work independently, builds positive relationships with stakeholders and is committed to providing a high level of service.
