Therapeutic Specialist

We have an exciting 0.5FTE backfill opportunity available in a 3-month Residential Care Therapeutic Specialist role based out of the AV Dandenong office, with outreach required at one Residential Care home.

Key responsibilities include:

• Providing short-term therapeutic engagement to young people residing in a Residential Care home.
• Maintaining a regular therapeutic presence at the home.
• Providing clinical formulation, consultation, and recommendations to care teams, house staff, families, and other key stakeholders.
• Facilitating Reflective Practice sessions with residential care teams.

To be successful in this backfill, you will have:

• Bachelor of Applied Science (OT), Bachelor or Master of Occupational Therapy, Master of Psychology, Master of Psychotherapy, Master of Counselling, Bachelor or Master of Social Work, Masters of Family therapy and eligibility for registration with the applicable professional association.
• Current Victoria Driver’s Licence.
