About the role
Elevate Your Nursing Career with Nectar
Nectar Brands is a leading healthcare house of brands at the forefront of Digital Health and Alternative Medicine in Australia. Recognised by The Australian Financial Review as the #8 fastest-growing start-up in 2023, our portfolio spans digital health and medicinal cannabis brands, with ongoing expansion into new therapeutic areas. We are committed to excellence in research, development, and the delivery of world-class healthcare solutions, redefining what high-quality digital healthcare and alternative therapeutics look and feel like for Australian patients.
About the Role
Further your career in a position that’s more than just a job. Join our team and play a central role within Nectar’s digital clinics, where you’ll ensure every patient receives safe, compliant, and compassionate care. Acting as the clinical anchor of the care team, you’ll guide patients through their health journey — from intake and triage to treatment and follow-up — with a strong emphasis on personalised care, education, and trust-building.
As a Clinic Nurse, you’ll conduct patient triage and provide assessments, support treatment planning, and guide patients in understanding and managing their care. You’ll offer ongoing support to ensure patients feel confident, safe, and well looked after throughout their health journey
Your expertise will also make you a respected link between patients and doctors — assisting with complex cases, addressing symptoms or side effects, and collaborating with both internal and external healthcare professionals. With specialised knowledge in evolving treatment pathways, you’ll deliver accurate, compliant, and individualised guidance, while fostering long-term patient trust and loyalty.
About You
If you're a Clinic Nurse with over 4+ years of healthcare experience, fueled by a genuine passion for patient care, problem-solving, and taking ownership of your work, we want you on our team.
Adaptability is your second nature, and you're excited about building your career within a national digital health organisation. You’ve got a keen eye for detail, exceptional communication and writing skills, and you’re committed to achieving the best for your patients.
You've got previous experience in a GP clinic or sub-acute clinical setting, can conduct thorough patient assessments, maintain accurate records, and are comfortable with various computer systems.
This is a full-time position (5 days per week) based in Hawthorn, Victoria. Salary commensurate with experience. We are open to considering part time and casual applicants.
Role Responsibilities
Provide patient triage, assessments, care planning, and follow-up throughout the treatment journey.
Deliver clear, compassionate patient education and support to build trust and engagement.
Collaborate with doctors, pharmacists, and the patient care team to ensure coordinated care.
Maintain accurate medical records and ensure compliance with clinical and regulatory standards.
Support the training and development of nursing and care staff to strengthen capability and raise standards.
Ensure patients feel supported, heard, and cared for throughout their digital healthcare journey, delivering a seamless and positive experience at every interaction.
Confidently use telehealth platforms, secure messaging, and digital health tools to provide safe, timely, and accessible nursing care.
Advocate for patients’ needs, ensuring their voice is central to decision-making and care planning.
Contribute to service development by sharing feedback on digital patient pathways, helping to improve efficiency, accessibility, and patient outcomes.
