About the role

Nurtured Beginnings' is seeking an experienced Diploma or Cert 3 Room Leader to join our team in our Preschool Room at our Condell Park, NSW centre. This is a full-time opportunity to lead and inspire a team of early childhood educators, providing high-quality care and education to children aged 3-5 years.

What you'll be doing

• Lead and mentor a team of early childhood educators to deliver engaging and developmentally appropriate educational programs

• Ensure all children in your care receive individualised attention and support to foster their social, emotional, cognitive and physical development

• Maintain a safe, nurturing and inclusive learning environment that aligns with the National Quality Standards

• Collaborate with families to build strong partnerships and support children's learning and wellbeing

• Comply with all relevant legislation, regulations and policies to ensure best practice

• Contribute to the continuous improvement of the centre through evaluation, reflection and implementation of innovative practices

• Managing a room of 30 children, with 4 staff (including one out of ratio support)

What we're looking for

• Diploma or Cert 3 of Early Childhood Education and Care or equivalent qualification

• Minimum 2 years' experience as a Room Leader or in a similar senior educator role

• Strong understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework and National Quality Standards

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build positive relationships with children, families and your team

• Ability to lead, motivate and support a team of early childhood educators

• Problem-solving skills and a solutions-focused approach

• Passion for early childhood education and a commitment to providing the best outcomes for children
