About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to join our Hospital pharmacy team at Concord Repatriation General Hospital.
What you’ll be doing
Pharmacy Assistants and Technicians provide technical support to the Pharmacy Department in all areas of pharmacy practice, including dispensing, production, distribution, and clinical activities. They are an essential part of the Pharmacy team in areas including the Main Dispensary, Cancer Care, Aseptic Production and Mental Health. Opportunities exist to undergo further formal education and training in health support services as well as learn and develop technical skills such as aseptic manufacturing.

Ideal Candidate
Recent relevant work experience in pharmacy or roles with transferable skills including health support roles, administrative positions, and inventory management.
Demonstrated excellent customer service.
Completion of a Certificate III or Certificate IV in Hospital/Health Pharmacy Support or relevant qualifications deemed by the Health Administration Corporation to be equivalent; competency in dispensing, non-sterile production and ward distribution; and ability to perform pharmaceutical calculations (Technician Grades only).
