The Opportunity
Hitachi Construction Machinery Australia is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Master Data Specialist to join our Parts team based in Parramatta, NSW. Reporting to the Parts Planning & Master Data Manager, you'll play a critical role in maintaining the accuracy, integrity and governance of product, vendor and pricing data across our ERP systems, supporting the smooth operation of our national Parts business.
About The Role
Create, update and maintain product, vendor and pricing master data within Microsoft Dynamics and ServigisticsManage part lifecycle activities including supersessions, obsolescence and product holdsMonitor data quality, perform validations and maintenance to resolve data discrepanciesEnsure compliance with data governance standards and business processesCollaborate with Parts, Procurement, Engineering and Technical teams to maintain accurate master dataCollaborate with cross-functional stakeholders across Parts, Procurement, Engineering, Technical, and other business units to maintain accurate and reliable master data.Investigate and resolve master data support requestsIdentify opportunities to improve data quality, workflows and system efficiencies
To Be Successful in This Role, You Will Need
Experience working with Microsoft Dynamics or a similar ERP systemPrevious experience in Master Data, Procurement, Inventory or the Parts industryAbility to understand the data and provide insights into key business drivers to enable decision supportStrong attention to detail with excellent analytical and problem-solving skillsIntermediate to advanced Excel skills and SQL knowledgeExcellent communication and stakeholder management skillsAbility to manage competing priorities while maintaining data accuracyA proactive mindset with a focus on continuous improvement
