About the Role
The manager, Community programs role is an important leadership position, with responsibility for providing strong clinical and operational governance across Substance use in Pregnancy and parenting Program (SUPPS), Assertive Case Management (ACM) and the Assertive Community Outreach Team (ACOT). The role offers an opportunity to lead community-based services across Canterbury Hospital, RPAH and Croydon Health Centre, supporting vulnerable adults experiencing alcohol and other drug issues, including those requiring coordinated support during pregnancy and parenting up to two years of age.
DHS is particularly interested in candidates with strong managerial experience with a particular focus on integrated, person-centred care and collaboration across health, social and community services. Effective leadership in this area is essential to improving engagement, continuity of care and outcomes for people experiencing complex AOD and social challenges.

Ideal Candidate
Relevant tertiary qualifications or equivalent experience in health management or health service planning and delivery.
