Crane Operator / Rigger / Dogman

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Crane Operator / Rigger to join our team at in Darra, QLD for immediate start. This is a full-time position where you will play a key role in the safe and efficient operation of our crane fleet. As a Crane Operator / Rigger / Dogman, you will have the opportunity to work on a variety of challenging construction projects across South East Queensland.

What you'll be doing

• Operating cranes of various sizes and capacities in a safe and responsible manner

• Performing pre-operational checks and maintaining detailed logs of crane activities

• Rigging and unrigging loads, selecting appropriate slings and lifting equipment

• Coordinating with site personnel to ensure the smooth and timely completion of lifts

• Adhering to all relevant safety standards and regulations

• Providing mentorship and guidance to less experienced team members

• Participating in ongoing training and professional development

What we're looking for

• Minimum 5 years' experience as a Crane Operator / Rigger in the construction industry

• Current High Risk Work Licence (HRWL) for the operation of cranes

• Current HR Licence

• Strong knowledge of crane operation, rigging, and load charts

• Excellent communication and teamwork skills

• Commitment to safety and a proactive approach to risk management

• Problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure

• Willingness to work overtime and weekends as required
