EARLY CHILDHOOD TEACHER (ECT)

Leaping Learners are seeking a Qualified Early Childhood Teacher who is dedicated, passionate and enthusiastic to join our team in Picton 2571 (also Leumeah 2560). We are committed to prioritising the safety and protection of children.

This is a Fulltime on the floor position for 5 days per week.

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS FOR THE ROLE

·        Bachelor in Early Childhood Education and Care or ACECQA assessed equivalent or Diploma that is actively studying towards a Bachelor Degree (Graduate Diploma's before Jan 2026 only)

·        An understanding of child-safe practices

·        Mandatory Child Safety Training completed

·        Current First Aid

·        A valid Working with Children's Check/ NESA registration

·        Child Protection and Child Safety training

·        Sound knowledge of EYLF, NQS, National Law & Regulations.

·        A minimum of 2x professional references

·        Own transport

TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL NEED TO DEMONSTRATE THE FOLLOWING:

·        Excellent programming skills

·        Thorough understanding of EYLF, NQF and NQS

·        Ability to mentor and guide educator practices in your room

·        Strong communication skills, both written and verbal

·        Effective time management skills

·        Strong leadership skills
