About the role

We have an exciting opportunity to join our team during a period of growth.

Calvary Bruce Private’s Critical Care Unit has 8 beds and specialising in: Critical Care, Post-Surgical High Dependency care, Coronary Care and other complex disease processes.

We are inviting those with ICU experience that are open to developing their skills and knowledge to work across CCU. 

Registered Nurses form a fundamental part of our Critical Care Department and the multidisciplinary team consisting of Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists, Department of Veterans Affairs Liaison Nurse and a Discharge planner.

Our Registered Nurses apply their professional nursing skills in assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating the care of their patients. The passionate team work cohesively to support people through some of their most vulnerable moments, managing an array of acute illness and diseases to patients with complex disease process, not limited to critical care, cardiac and neurological issues.

What you bring 

Mandatory:

• Registered as a Registered Nurse with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
• Experience of working in CCU, HDU or ICU
• Evidence of commitment to maintaining ongoing professional development through the participation in education, and training activities relevant to the field of clinical practice.
• Demonstrated commitment to ongoing professional development through the participation in education and training activities relevant to the field of clinical practice.
• A desire to join a team committed to the care of others in a mission based organization.

Highly Desirable:

• Post Graduate qualification in Advance Practice Nursing, Cardiovascular Nursing, Critical Care Nursing or working towards the same.
