About the role
We are looking for a curious and commercially minded Data Analyst to turn supporter and fundraising data into meaningful insights and action.
Reporting to the Fundraising Database Manager, you will support data driven decision making across the fundraising function. You will analyse supporter behaviour, campaign performance and fundraising trends to identify opportunities to improve acquisition, retention, engagement and lifetime value.
This role is based in Allambie Heights with flexible, hybrid working arrangements.
Responsibilities of the role (not limited to):
Analyse supporter behaviour, fundraising performance and donor trendsEnsure data quality, integrity and consistency across fundraising reporting and analytical outputs.Develop audience segmentation and insights to support targeted campaigns and supporter journeysCreate and maintain dashboards, reports and visualisationsAnalyse campaign performance, return on investment, retention and lifetime valueIdentify trends, risks and opportunities to improve fundraising performanceSupport predictive and behavioural analysisTranslate data and insights into clear, actionable recommendationsPartner with fundraising stakeholders to understand reporting needsSupport and champion data led decision making across the fundraising functionHelp optimise business intelligence and reporting capabilities across Salesforce and other fundraising systemsLeverage AI enabled and other contemporary analytical tools to improve reporting and insights
About you:
You are an analytical problem solver who can turn complex data into clear and actionable insights. You enjoy identifying patterns and opportunities and can communicate your findings effectively to a range of stakeholders.
You will ideally bring:
5+ years of data analysis and/or data management experienceStrong data extraction, transformation and analysis skills, including SQL or similar querying languages.Experience working with data warehouses, data models and large datasets.Strong dashboard and reporting experience using tools such as Power BI or similarExperience with CRM systems, with Salesforce highly regardedExperience analysing campaign, customer or supporter performanceExperience evaluating campaign tests, measuring outcomes and identifying optimisation opportunities.Strong stakeholder management and communication skillsExperience with Fabric Data Warehouse would be highly regardedExperience with marketing tools and platforms is desirableExperience within fundraising, membership, customer, loyalty or not-for-profit environments would be highly regarded.An interest in AI enabled and contemporary analytical toolsQualifications in Business, Commerce, Marketing, Analytics, Statistics, Information Systems or a related discipline are highly regarded.
