Job Description:

The Accounts Clerk/Bookkeeper will play a crucial role in supporting our operations and senior management. The ideal candidate will have strong organisational skills, and the ability to juggle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Accounts:

  • Process and maintain accurate Accounts Payable and Receivable

  • Cash Flow management and account reconciliations

  • Prepare BAS

  • Complete cash flow and project-based reports

• Payroll and HR Administration

  • Process weekly payroll including Super

  • Administration of EBA and industry entitlements

  • Assist with onboarding new employees

• General:

  • Assisting management with day-to-day business operations

  • Job cost tracking and reporting

  • Assisting with tendering projects

    About You

• Proven experience as an accounts clerk, bookkeeper or similar role

• Sound understanding of payroll, leave entitlements and EBA conditions

• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)

• Experience with Reckon Accounts Hosted/ Xero preferred

• Excellent organisational and time-management skills

• Strong verbal and written communication skills

• Flexible, positive and hardworking attitude

• Construction background preferred but not essential
