Junior Mortgage Broker

The Opportunity:

We are now looking for a driven, coachable, and relentlessly client-focused Junior Mortgage Broker to join our team and kick-start their broking career with the backing of a captive customer base and a continuously growing inbound lead pipeline.

This is not a cold-start role, and you won’t be left to figure it out alone. In addition to a base salary, this role offers a genuine commission structure tied to loan settlements as you progress, with uncapped commission for those who perform above plan — the more you write, the more you earn. Structure details will be shared with shortlisted candidates.

Key Responsibilities:

Client Management & Loan Origination:

• Loan Origination Support – Support clients through the mortgage application lifecycle from initial enquiry through to settlement, working closely with your mentor to ensure a seamless, high-quality experience at every touchpoint
• Lead Conversion – Work a warm and continuous inbound lead pipeline generated through the firm’s referral network, digital channels, and existing client base — you won’t be starting from scratch
• Needs Analysis – Learn to conduct thorough financial needs analyses, present tailored lending solutions across a broad lender panel, and build the skills to guide clients through borrowing scenarios with clarity and confidence
• Settlement & Compliance – Ensure applications are lodged accurately and efficiently through the aggregator platform, learning and applying NCCP and responsible lending obligations under close supervision
• Book Familiarity – Get hands-on exposure to loan book management, client reviews, and refinancing opportunities as you progress toward managing your own portfolio

Business Development & Growth:

• Referral Relationships – Start building relationships with referral partners — including real estate agents, accountants, financial planners, and conveyancers — laying the foundation for your own pipeline over time
• Brand Representation – Represent Brokerage & Co with professionalism and integrity in the Adelaide market
• Performance Reporting – Maintain accurate records in the CRM and provide regular activity and progress reporting to the Principal
