The Opportunity We are seeking a Disability Support Worker located in Ipswich, QLD Each day may look a little different, but your work will be centered around the following:

• Person-centered planning: Chat with the client (and family/advocates), get to know them and understand goals and routines.
• Complex physical care: Help with mobility, transfers, positioning, daily tasks, and devices (wheelchairs, aids, etc.) as outlined in the plan
• Medical support: Watch for changes, follow med/clinical plans, and liaise with the care team if things shift.
• Social time and participation: Bring meaning, fun, and community access aligned with interests.
• Autonomy and advocacy: Support decision-making, respect consent, boost independence where possible.

• Additional competencies required: Manual Handling, Acquired Brain Injury, Medication Administration, Changed Behaviours, Mealtime management, Complex Bowel Care, Severe Dysphagia Management To be successful in this role you will have:
• Driver's License, reliable vehicle and comprehensive car insurance
• At least one year's experience as a Disability Support Worker
• NDIS Clearance, First Aid (3 yrs), CPR (12 months) & National police clearance - or willingness to obtain What we Offer
