Responsibilities

We are looking for Personal Care Assistants to join our team at St James, Matraville. We offer a variety of shifts including morning, afternoon, and night shifts across the week. As part of a dedicated team who work hard to create a safe, home-like environment you’ll be responsible for:

Assisting with personal care such as showering and dressingSupporting day-to-day tasks such as eating and social activitiesWorking with clinical team members to ensure care plans are followedMaintaining documentation and working as part of a team to ensure our residents’ health and wellbeing are optimisedProviding high quality service to families and the community

To be successful in this role you’ll need

A kind heart and genuine passion for providing high quality care to the elderlyComfortable interacting with a wide variety of peopleGood communication skillsA reliable team playerUnderstanding of workplace health and safetyA Certificate 3 in Aged Care (or equivalent) Willingness to apply for a Police Check and NDIS clearance
