Support Worker

As a Disability Support Worker, working within Learning Day Program and Community Access, you’ll provide person-centred support that empowers people with disability to build independence, confidence and connection. In this role you will need to be available for shifts during Weekdays and occasional Weekends (Penalty rates eligible) for community access. This role is located from our Learning and Lifestyle site in Castle Hills, Sydney.

What we’re looking for

• A caring, patient and respectful approach
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills
• Reliability and a positive, can-do attitude
• Availability to work a range of casual shifts at the learning and lifestyle program
• A Certificate III in Individual Support (Disability) is advantageous but not required

You will be required to hold or willing to obtain

• Working with Children Check
• NDIS Worker Screening Check (Yellow Card)
• First Aid & CPR Certification
• National Criminal History Check (Police Check)
• Australian open Driver’s License with comprehensive insurance on your vehicle
