Medical Receptionist

About the role

We're seeking a diligent and customer-focused Part-time Medical Receptionist to join our team at Glen Iris Healthcare in Ashburton, VIC 3147. As a Medical Receptionist, you will be responsible for providing exceptional front-line customer service and administrative support to our patients and healthcare practitioners.

What you'll be doing

• Greeting and welcoming patients in a friendly and professional manner

• Scheduling appointments and managing the clinic's appointment calendar

• Handling patient inquiries and booking new appointments

• Collecting and processing payments for services rendered

• Maintaining accurate patient records and updating electronic medical files

• Assisting with general administrative duties as required

What we're looking for

• Previous experience in a customer service role

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact with patients in a warm and empathetic manner

• Excellent organisational and time management skills with the ability to multitask and prioritise tasks

• Proficiency in using medical practice management software and Microsoft Office suite

• A friendly, professional and customer-focused attitude

• A keen eye for detail and the ability to maintain accurate records

• Holds a drivers licence and owns a car.
