Programmed Facility Management is seeking experienced Kitchen Utilities to join our team at a brand-new accommodation village in the Pilbara, supporting our client PLS.

With capacity for up to 200 people, this is an opportunity to join a new kitchen operation from the beginning and become part of a team focused on delivering a high-quality dining experience for residents on site.

This is a permanent full-time position on a 2:1 FIFO roster from Perth, working 12-hour shifts across both day and night operations.

The Opportunity

As a Kitchen Utility, you will provide essential support to the kitchen team, working alongside experienced Chefs to help deliver meals for a large FIFO workforce.

We're looking for people who genuinely enjoy working in a kitchen and want to build a career in camp catering. This isn't simply an opportunity to get your foot in the door of FIFO, we're looking for people who want to develop their skills, take on more responsibility and progress within the kitchen and broader camp operation.

You will play an important role in keeping the kitchen running efficiently while maintaining high standards of cleanliness, food safety and service.

What You'll Be Doing

• Assisting Chefs with food preparation and general kitchen duties
• Supporting the preparation and service of breakfast, lunch and dinner
• Washing dishes and maintaining kitchen equipment and work areas
• Cleaning and sanitising kitchen facilities in line with food safety requirements
• Restocking food, equipment and kitchen supplies
• Supporting the kitchen team during busy service periods
• Maintaining a clean, organised and safe working environment
• Following food safety, hygiene and HACCP requirements
• Working collaboratively with Chefs and other kitchen staff
• Supporting the broader kitchen operation as required

About You

This role will suit someone who already has kitchen experience and genuinely wants to build their career in camp catering.

We're particularly interested in people who have previous FIFO kitchen experience and understand the demands of working in a high-volume camp environment.

You will be someone who takes pride in your work, enjoys being part of a kitchen team and is motivated to develop your skills and take on additional responsibility over time.

To be successful, you will have:

• Previous FIFO kitchen or camp catering experience (Essential)
• Previous experience working in a commercial or high-volume kitchen
• A genuine passion for working in a kitchen and developing your career in catering
• The ability to work both day and night shifts
• Strong understanding of food safety and hygiene requirements
• A positive attitude and strong work ethic
• The ability to work effectively as part of a team
• A current C Class driver's licence
• Long-term Australian working rights
