The Opportunity

Student placements are a vital bridge between academic learning and real-world practice, offering students invaluable hands-on experience while equipping organisations with fresh perspectives and new talent. At RAQ, we recognise the transformative impact of these opportunities—not only for students but also for our team and the broader community. Work experience placements offer valuable opportunities for university students to gain real-world skills while supporting our team and clients. Due to high demand, available placements are limited and may be offered at various locations across Queensland.

How to Apply

• Organise through your university: All placements must be arranged and supported by your university’s student placement services.

• Documentation required: Submit proof that your placement is part of Work Integrated Learning, along with relevant insurances.

• Checks and clearances: All students must complete a police check and obtain a valid Blue Card before starting their placement.

Clinical Placements

RAQ offers clinical placements to students studying behavioural or social sciences, social work, human services, psychology, or counselling at multiple venues across Queensland.

What to Expect

• Availability: While we strive to accommodate all interested students, placement at your preferred location cannot be guaranteed due to high demand.

• Next steps: If we can host your placement, we will contact you directly within approx 2-3 weeks.
