About The Role

We’re looking for a friendly, organised, and experienced GP Medical Receptionist to join our lovely team at Myhealth Foxwell. Working across Monday to Friday, you’ll be the friendly face welcoming patients at the front desk, keeping things running smoothly! If you enjoy a team that’s welcoming and supportive, this could be the perfect role for you.

Day in the Life

Day-to-day reception dutiesOverseeing and maintaining diary scheduling in collaboration with the Clinical Team (including waitlist management, booking in new clients and rescheduling appointments)Overseeing appointments and bookingsManaging waitlist management, booking in new clients and rescheduling appointmentAssisting with patient and doctor queriesUtilising appropriate item numbers for appointments

What we're looking for:

Minimum of 1-2 years of reception experience in general practice/healthcare settings.Best Practice experience preferredExceptional verbal and written communication skillsProficiency in Medicare, DVA, Work Cover, HICAPS, and Private Health Insurance billings preferredStrong multitasking abilities and effective prioritisation of workflowA positive, can-do attitude and a drive to make a meaningful impact on our patients and practice
