About the Role

As a Senior Clinical Coder, you will be responsible for the accurate classification of inpatient episodes using the ICD-10-AM classification system. You will review and interpret complex clinical documentation to ensure high-quality coding outcomes that support patient care, funding accuracy, and organisational performance.

Key responsibilities include:

• Clinical coding of inpatient episodes using ICD-10-AM, ACHI and ACS standards

• Reviewing and interpreting complex clinical records

• Ensuring coding quality, accuracy and compliance

• Assisting with coding queries and documentation clarification where required

• Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives and coding quality activities
