Insulation Installer - Casual Opportunities

About the role

Enviroflex is seeking casual Insulation Installers to join our growing team in Bayswater, VIC. This is a casual position offering flexible work opportunities for experienced installers who are ready to take on diverse projects. You will play a vital role in delivering high-quality insulation solutions to our clients, ensuring homes and commercial spaces are properly insulated for energy efficiency and comfort. As a casual team member, you'll have the flexibility to work on a project-by-project basis whilst contributing to Enviroflex's reputation for excellence in the insulation industry.

Key responsibilities

• Install insulation materials in residential properties according to specifications and industry standards

• Removal and disposal of existing insulation with help from our industrial vacuum

• Prepare work areas by protecting floors, furniture and fixtures before commencing installation

• Measure, cut and fit insulation materials accurately to maximise coverage and effectiveness

• Ensure all work is completed safely, efficiently and to the highest quality standards

• Follow health and safety regulations and company procedures at all times

• Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition and report any defects

• Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors on site

• Clean up work areas upon completion of installation tasks

What we're looking for

• Proven experience as an Insulation Installer or in a similar labouring role within the trades industry

• Strong knowledge of various insulation materials and installation techniques

• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications

• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to delivering quality workmanship

• Physical fitness and capability to perform manual labour, including working at heights and in confined spaces

• Valid driver's licence and reliable transport to travel between job sites

• Current or willingness to obtain relevant health and safety certifications (such as working at heights certification)

• Strong work ethic, reliability and punctuality

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
