Inclusion Support Educator – Central Coast

We are currently seeking a superb Inclusion Support Educator to join the team at our stunning Early Childhood service located in Charmhaven, NSW!

About the Role

As the Inclusion Support Educator in our preschool space, you’ll be energetic, creative, dedicated and driven to assist children with additional needs to independently engage with their peers and learning environment.

You’ll work closely with the broader team to implement tailored strategies that promote confidence, participation and a strong sense of belonging. Your ability to build trusting relationships and adapt to individual strengths and needs will be essential in helping every child flourish.

• Inclusive of others, with a positive and collaborative attitude
• Motivated to build respectful and meaningful connections with colleagues, families, children, and the wider community while maintaining professional boundaries
• Dedicated, enthusiastic, and reliable, with a commitment to excellence for children and willingness to grow with the service
• Ready to support the implementation of contemporary, evidence-informed pedagogy
• Open to our unique and innovative approach to programming and practice
• Shows an interest in understanding and exploring the RIE approach
• ACECQA approved Early Childhood, Allied Health or related qualifications and/or experience e.g. Speech or Occupational Therapy or Special Education highly regarded (or working towards)
• Current Child Protection training, including a recognised course code for Identify and Report Children and Young People at Risk highly regarded
• Current First Aid, CPR, Anaphylaxis, and Asthma certifications are encouraged (at own cost).

Essential Criteria:

• Valid NSW Working with Children Check (or a willingness to obtain)*
• Demonstrated understanding of contemporary child safe practices, including child safeguarding responsibilities (or a willingness to develop this knowledge)
• Available for permanent part-time work across Monday to Friday, and 6 hours per day, 9am–3:30pm, with flexibility as required
• Current Food Handler Basics training, with a certificate to be provided*
• Current Child Safety training (Geccko), with a certificate to be provided*

*To be completed prior to your first working shift.
