About The Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced leader with industry experience to join our Water Services team as the Reticulation Team Manager. As the Reticulation Team Manager, you are responsible for leading the safe, reliable, and compliant operation and maintenance of Council water and wastewater reticulation networks. You will use your leadership experience to effectively ensure sustainable service delivery whilst balancing planned and reactive maintenance activities across the network.

The key responsibilities of this role include, but are not limited to:

• Manage the delivery of a critical water service in accordance with regulatory guidelines and customer service standards.
• Lead initiatives that improve network reliability, asset performance, and service outcomes through effective maintenance planning and operational decision-making.
• Drive continuous improvement in maintenance systems, work practices, technology adoption, and service delivery performance.
• Provide expert advice and direction to operational and project teams.
• Apply strategic thinking to operational activities, identify problems, and provide solutions by application of proven techniques.
• Coordinate projects and ensure efficient utilisation of Water Services' resources.
• Provide leadership to direct reports and to the wider Reticulation team, including promoting an engaged safety culture and fostering an engaged and motivated high-performing team.
• Foster collaborative interdepartmental relationships, providing efficient and effective workflows and support.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will need to demonstrate the following key selection criteria:

• Possession of Certificate III in Water Industry Operations or equivalent
• Possession of a current Plumber/Drainer Licence or equivalent
• Demonstrated sound practical industry knowledge or experience.
• Demonstrated experience managing large outdoor-based teams
• Demonstrated experienced setting business outcomes and independently prioritising and coordinating a range of tasks to achieve these objectives.
