Leading Hand Electrician

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Leading Hand Electrician to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified electrician who enjoys leading by example, mentoring apprentices, and delivering high-quality electrical work across a range of high-end residential projects.

The role is based on the Gold Coast.

As a Leading Hand Electrician, you will be responsible for:

·       Supervising and leading a team of electricians and apprentices.

·       Planning and coordinating daily work activities.

·       Installing, maintaining and repairing electrical systems.

·       Reading and interpreting plans and specifications.

·       Ensuring projects are completed safely, on time and to a high standard.

·       Conducting testing, commissioning and fault finding.

·       Liaising with builders and project managers.

·       Maintaining accurate job records and reporting progress.

To be successful in this role, you will have:

·       Current Australian Electrical Licence.

·       Current White Card.

·       Current Driver Licence.

·       Current CPR.

·       Great presentation.

·       Previous experience leading a team  and running jobs.

·       Excellent fault-finding and problem-solving skills.

·       Strong communication and organisational abilities.

·       Ability to mentor apprentices and develop team members.

·       Commitment to quality workmanship and customer service.

·       Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

·       Solar installation and battery storage experience desirable but not essential.
