Fleet Maintenance Advisor

Our extensive network of bulk fuel and lubricant depots, delivery vehicles, and Retail Service Stations is supported by a team that is an integral part of the local communities we serve. 

We are looking for an experienced Fleet Maintenance Advisor to join our team! Reporting to the Fleet Maintenance Manager you will will be responsible for coordinating maintenance and repair activities, reviewing quotes and invoices, liaising with depots and vendors, and escalate key issues as needed.

Key responsibilities:

• Coordinate fleet maintenance and repair activities, managing work orders from request through to completion.
• Review quotations, invoices and maintenance records, ensuring accuracy, cost control and compliance.
• Liaise with depots, vendors and internal stakeholders to keep maintenance work progressing efficiently.
• Monitor fleet compliance, service schedules and maintenance records, escalating safety, operational and financial risks as required.
• Maintain fleet systems and asset records while providing operational support and relief coverage across the fleet maintenance function

Required Skills & Experience

• Experience in fleet maintenance, workshop administration, service advising, or a similar transport industry role.
• Strong understanding of heavy vehicle maintenance, repair processes, service documentation, and cost management.
• Ability to review work orders, quotations, invoices, and maintenance records with accuracy and attention to detail.
• Confident using fleet management, workshop, and enterprise systems to manage maintenance activities and records.
• Knowledge of heavy vehicle compliance requirements, vendor management, and stakeholder communication
• A current driver's licence.
