Community Care Workers

• Minimum 15 rostered hours per week (this is negotiable within reason with successful applicants)
• Located in either Port Fairy, Mortlake and surrounds

We are currently seeking suitably qualified and experienced community care workers to join our team based from either the Mortlake or Port Fairy services.

The successful applicants for these positions will be undertaking duties with the aim of supporting frail aged people, people with a disability, and their carers to facilitate continued living in their own home.

When submitting application please clarify preference for Mortlake or Port Fairy as the position location.

• A current driver licence
• Employee working with children check
• Certificate III or IV individual support, aged and disability services or equivalent
• Level 2 first aid (Provide first aid)

• Knowledge and understanding of the needs of all frail aged people and people with a disability

• Knowledge and understanding of the needs of families in crises

• Understanding of occupational health and safety / risk management situations when working in peoples homes and the community

• Ability to report and manage roster on mobile Apple device
