About The Role
We are seeking a highly organised and commercially minded Events Sales Coordinator to join our team, based at the iconic Eureka Tower in Southbank. This is a full-time position requiring meticulous attention to detail and a positive work attitude. In this role, you will be responsible for the sale, coordination and delivery of a diverse range of events, including private celebrations, weddings, conferences and corporate gatherings.
You will be a key contact for clients from enquiry through to event delivery, responding to enquiries, preparing accurate quotes, converting leads, coordinating with operational teams and suppliers, and ensuring every event is delivered to a high standard. This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys building strong client relationships, working towards sales targets and creating memorable guest experiences.
This is an exciting opportunity to build your events career in one of Melbourne's most recognisable locations, working with a passionate team that delivers premium dining, event and guest experiences. You will have the opportunity to work across a varied events portfolio, engage with clients and stakeholders, and play a direct role in bringing memorable occasions to life.

What You'll Be Doing
Managing incoming event enquiries via phone and email, ensuring timely and professional follow-upPreparing accurate event proposals and quotes, while identifying opportunities to upsell packages and add-onsWorking towards budgeted sales conversion targets, event numbers, yield and monthly revenue goalsCoordinating with internal operational, kitchen and wider Attractions and Experiences teams to ensure client expectations are metMaintaining clear communication with new and existing clients through emails, calls and site visits
Requirements
About You
You are a confident communicator and natural organiser who thrives in a fast-paced, guest-focused environment. You enjoy converting enquiries into successful events, building rapport with clients and collaborating with internal teams to deliver seamless experiences.
To be successful in this role, you will bring:
A diploma, certificate or equivalent qualification in Event Management, Hospitality or a related fieldAt least one year of experience in direct sales, event coordination or a similar hospitality-focused roleExperience working towards sales targets, budgets and conversion KPIsStrong organisational skills, attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple events and deadlinesExcellent written and verbal communication skills, with a professional and customer-focused approachA proactive, can-do mindset and the ability to adapt positively to changing operational needsConfidence using Microsoft Office productsExperience with reservation or event systems such as SevenRooms and iVvy (highly regarded)
