Greencross Vets Noarlunga is looking for an experienced and people-focused Practice Manager to join our team.

We're open to both part-time and full-time applicants, with a minimum commitment of 30 hours per week. For the right candidate, a full-time role can be tailored to include a combination of practice management responsibilities alongside nursing and/or reception shifts, providing valuable hands-on support to the team while staying connected to the day-to-day operation of the clinic.

About the Role

As Practice Manager, you'll play a pivotal role in supporting the team while ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of the clinic.

This position can be structured as either:

• Part-time Practice Management (minimum 30 hours per week), or
• Full-time Practice Management, incorporating management responsibilities alongside nursing and/or reception shifts to support the wider team.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Leading and supporting the nursing and reception teams
• Creating and maintaining a positive, engaged workplace culture
• Managing rostering, workflow, and team coordination
• Supporting recruitment, onboarding, and team development
• Monitoring clinic performance and key business metrics
• Supporting client service excellence and patient care standards
• Managing stock control and inventory processes
• Ensuring clinic compliance and operational standards are maintained
• Working closely with the Vet Director and regional leadership team
• Driving team engagement, retention, and professional development
• Identifying opportunities to improve clinic operations and efficiency
• Providing hands-on nursing or reception support where required (for full-time applicants)

About You

We're looking for someone who:

• Has previous Practice Management, Head Nurse, or veterinary leadership experience
• Has experience leading and developing teams
• Possesses strong organisational and communication skills
• Is confident managing competing priorities in a busy environment
• Has a strong understanding of client service excellence
• Demonstrates initiative, accountability, and professionalism
• Is passionate about supporting and developing people
• Has strong business and operational skills
• Thrives in a collaborative team environment
• Has experience with veterinary practice management systems such as RxWorks (advantageous but not essential)

Veterinary industry experience is highly desirable and will be highly regarded.
