Sommelier

Pilu at Freshwater is a fine dining restaurant located on Freshwater Beach focused on showcasing Sardinian cuisine & wine. We are seeking a motivated and talented employee to join our wine team. This role would suit a candidate looking to expand and apply their wine knowledge while learning alongside experienced and talented Sommeliers.

About You

• You will be responsible for working restaurant services and providing guidance to guests on our beverage options
• You will be a motivated person that leads by example and is willing to help out in all aspects of restaurant operations
• Working closely with our Sommeliers and Restaurant Manager to achieve a distinct and unique wine list
• Work in a high level and diverse team
• Manage stock levels and assist with stock delivery/rotation
• Full knowledge of wine list, specifically Sardinian wine (training provided)

Qualification and Experience:

Have hospitality qualification or equivalent experience

3 to 4 years experience in senior restaurant role (such as senior waitstaff)

1 - 2 years experience in a wine or beverage role (such as wine waiter/senior bartender)
