We are seeking a passionate and experienced Occupational Therapist to join our dynamic team of Allied Health professionals specialising in Multiple Sclerosis (MS) and other neurological conditions. Your responsibilities:
As an Occupational Therapist in the team you will:
Deliver high quality community Occupational Therapy services within a range of funding and legislative models including NDIS and Aged Care.
Complete comprehensive assessments and identify plans to enhance outcomes related to independence, employment, and wellbeing.
Deliver services within individual client budgets and ensure clients are working towards their goals.
Prescribe assistive technology and home modifications for clients living with a neurological condition.
Complete detailed and person-centred reports and documentation for clients to support their identified needs and goals.
Promote continuous improvement and best practice.
Strive for solutions that are clinically justified and empower clients to balance risk and rewards.
About you:
You will need to have a relevant Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Therapy, a current AHPRA registration, and preferably experience in the Disability or Health Sector.
You are consumer focused, determined and self-disciplined, resilient and adaptive and collaborative.
However, just as important is your belief in and passion for our mission and desire to positively impact the lives of people living with MS and other neurological conditions.
If successful, you will need to:
Complete a NDIS Worker Screening Check
Complete a Disability Workers Exclusion Check.
Have a valid driver’s license
A National Police Check
Working with Children Check
