The Opportunity Join the School of Electrical Engineering and Telecommunications in the Faculty of Engineering at UNSW as a Lecturer or Senior Lecturer in an Education Focussed role. These roles support teaching excellence, student success and innovative learning experiences for the next generation of electrical engineers. As a Lecturer, you will deliver high-quality teaching across Electrical Engineering, contribute to curriculum development and assessment, and support students through engaging, inclusive learning experiences.
As a Senior Lecturer, you will also take a leadership role in teaching and learning, including curriculum development and improvement, mentoring colleagues, and helping shape the future direction of Electrical Engineering education. Position Details
o Lecturer (Level B) – AUD $133,065 to $156,864 per annum + 17% superannuation o Senior Lecturer (Level C) – AUD $161,619 to $185,422 per annum + 17% superannuation
About You You are an academic with expertise in electrical/electronics engineering or a closely related field, with the ability to contribute to high-quality teaching and learning across undergraduate and postgraduate Electrical Engineering programs.
You are committed to advancing your discipline knowledge while delivering engaging learning experiences through well-designed teaching, assessment and feedback, curriculum development and the use of educational technologies. Success in this role requires a collaborative and adaptable approach, with the ability to work across disciplines, build relationships with industry and professional networks, and contribute to the School’s teaching excellence. At Senior Lecturer level, you will also bring evidence of leadership in teaching and learning, experience mentoring colleagues, and the ability to contribute to broader educational leadership within the School and Faculty.
