About the role

We are seeking an energetic and dedicated Receptionist/Patient Services to join our friendly and professional team at Coastal Medical Imaging, part of the Carlisle Health Group on a permanent full-time basis.

Specific responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

• Be the first point of contact for patients, providing a welcoming and professional experience.

• Schedule and confirm appointments for multiple imaging modalities.

• Register patients accurately and verify referral and billing details.

• Processing Medicare billing, payments, and performing end-of-day banking.

• Maintain accurate patient records and complete data entry tasks.

• Maintain patient confidentiality in accordance with Privacy Legislation and Carlisle Health policy.

• Communicate clearly and professionally with patients, referrers, and internal teams.

• Handling multiple priorities in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

Background and experience

• A caring and compassionate nature with a patient first focus.

• Previous experience in medical or radiology reception is highly desirable.

• The ability to work well under pressure in a busy environment.

• Passion for the healthcare industry with the interest for long-term growth.

• Highly personable with the ability to build and maintain rapport.

• Strong attention to detail and a patient centered approach.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration.
