Workshop Supervisor

At Syntechtron, we design, manufacture and service vibratory feeders and bulk materials handling equipment used across the mining and industrial sectors throughout Australia.

We're looking for a practical and people-focused Workshop Supervisor to lead our skilled team in Blacktown. This is a hands-on leadership role where you'll coordinate daily workshop operations, mentor tradespeople and apprentices, and help drive a safe, organised and high-performing workshop culture.

What you'll be doing

• Lead and support a team of tradespeople and apprentices.
• Coordinate daily workshop activities to ensure jobs are delivered safely, efficiently and to a high standard.
• Work closely with office staff to manage priorities and customer requirements.
• Support assembly, testing, servicing and fault-finding activities on industrial equipment.
• Promote strong housekeeping, 5S and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Maintain a strong focus on WHS and lead by example.
• Assist with workshop planning, stock coordination and resource management.

About You

Essential

• Previous experience leading teams in a workshop, manufacturing or industrial environment.
• Strong organisational and communication skills.
• Commitment to safety and continuous improvement.
• Ability to coordinate multiple priorities and support a diverse team.

Highly regarded

• Trade qualification or Electrical Licence.
• Experience in mining, manufacturing or bulk materials handling industries.
• Knowledge of 5S principles.
• Experience with vibratory feeders, conveyors, hoppers or similar industrial equipment.
