MC Truck Driver

About the role

At FBT Transwest, we are seeking an experienced MC Truck Driver to join our dynamic team in Newcastle, NSW. As an MC Truck Driver, you will play a crucial role in our road transport operations, ensuring the efficient and safe delivery of goods across the region. What you'll be doing

• Safely operate MC class trucks to transport a variety of goods and materials

• Adhere to all relevant road rules, safety regulations and company policies

• Maintain accurate logbooks and documentation

• Perform pre-start checks and minor maintenance on your assigned vehicle

• Assist with loading and unloading of goods as required

• Provide exceptional customer service to clients

• Contribute to the continuous improvement of our operations

What we're looking for

• Valid MC driver's licence with a minimum of 2 years' experience operating MC class vehicles

• Strong knowledge of road transport regulations and best practices

• Excellent driving skills and ability to manoeuvre large vehicles

• Commitment to safe work practices and attention to detail

• Good communication and customer service skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Flexibility to work a rotating shift pattern, including weekends and public holidays
