Enhance Myofunction are currently seeking a caring, capable Dental Assistant to join our clinic in Milton. This is a unique opportunity to work in a collaborative, patient-centred environment while playing a vital role in the lives of our patients—from infants to adults.

About the Role

As a Dental Assistant at Enhance Myofunction, you will:

• Assist chair-side during procedures such as laser frenectomies, OMT sessions, and Myobrace visits and adjustments.

• Prepare, sterilise, and maintain clinical equipment and treatment rooms according to strict infection control protocols and ensuring seamless workflows

• Support and reassure patients—especially infants, toddlers, and anxious children—during procedures

• Provide post-treatment guidance to families, including wound care

• Monitor and manage clinical inventory and liaise with clinical managers for ordering supplies

About You

We’re looking for someone enthusiastic, caring, and eager to grow—regardless of your background or level of experience. Whether you're an experienced dental assistant or just starting out, we’re committed to providing the support and training you need to thrive in this role.

This role is perfect for:

• Qualified Dental Assistants with Certificate III (or equivalent)

• Mothers or caregivers returning to the workforce, seeking meaningful, flexible, and family-friendly hours in a supportive environment

• University students studying dental assisting, health sciences, speech pathology, nursing or allied health, looking for hands-on experience in a specialised clinical setting

• University Students studying education with a love of working with children

• New or early-career dental assistants with a passion for learning and patient care—no specialty experience required

• Individuals with strong people skills who are compassionate, patient, and excellent with children and families

The ideal candidate will also:

• Have some experience (or strong interest) in dental, orthodontic, medical, or allied health environments

• Be calm, professional, and confident supporting infants, toddlers, and families during clinical procedures

• Show excellent hygiene and infection control habits

• Be able to follow clinical procedures, multitask, and adapt quickly to a fast-paced team environment

• Possess clear communication skills and a naturally empathetic approach to patient care

• Be organised and reliable, with a proactive attitude and attention to detail

• Be open to learning about myofunctional therapy, tongue-tie treatment, and holistic approaches to oral health
