Powder Coater/ Blaster Labourer

Our company is located in Riverstone and has established its position in the manufacturing industry with multi national clients servicing all the needs of these companies, doing regular maintenance, line coverage, machine installation, shutdowns, manufacture platforms/walkways, pipe work, sheet, metal, stainless steel fabrication and all types of machining

Job Description: We are seeking a physically fit individual for the role of Powder Coater/Blaster Labourer. The successful candidate will handle various duties in sandblasting and powder coating of fabricated items, ensuring high-quality finishes and adherence to specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

Operate equipment to clean, wash, strip, sand, or otherwise prepare fabricated steel items for the application of paint or other protective coatings.

Paint small items and perform touch-ups.

Clean and maintain painting and coating equipment, as well as personal protective equipment.

Maintain and use abrasive blasting equipment.

Qualifications:

Previous experience preferred but not essential, as on-the-job training will be provided for the right applicant.

Ability to work autonomously or as part of a team.

Excellent time management and multitasking skills.

Positive attitude with a "can-do" approach.

Good communication skills and strong work ethic.
