About the role

The Advanced Physiotherapist – Pelvic Health provides strategic and clinical leadership for the Gynaecology Physiotherapy Screening Clinic (GPSC) and Physiotherapy Pelvic Health Service (PPHS) within the Caboolture Hospital Physiotherapy Service. The role delivers advanced clinical expertise in the assessment, diagnosis and management of complex pelvic health conditions while supporting service development, innovation and the ongoing delivery of high-quality specialist care.

The successful candidate will provide expert physiotherapy services to patients referred to specialist outpatient services, work collaboratively with gynaecologists and multidisciplinary teams, and contribute to the advancement of pelvic health physiotherapy practice. The role also provides clinical leadership, education, mentoring and supervision to physiotherapists and other healthcare professionals while supporting quality improvement, research and service evaluation activities.

About you

• Provide advanced clinical expertise in the assessment, diagnosis and management of complex pelvic health conditions within a specialist physiotherapy service.
• Lead the development and implementation of evidence-based clinical practices, protocols and service improvements that enhance patient outcomes and support the continuum of care.
• Work collaboratively with gynaecologists, multidisciplinary teams and specialist outpatient services to deliver coordinated and patient-centred care.
• Provide leadership, mentoring, supervision and education to physiotherapists, students and other health professionals to build workforce capability and clinical excellence.
• Lead and contribute to quality improvement, research, service evaluation and data analysis activities that support innovation and ongoing enhancement of pelvic health services.
