Team members join a growing organization focused on efficient, reliable, and customer-centered logistics operations.Role Description The Forklift Operator role at MRL GLOBAL is a full-time, on-site position based in Archerfield, QLD. The role involves safely operating forklifts and other material-handling equipment to load, unload, move, and stack pallets and freight within the warehouse and depot. Daily tasks include receiving and dispatching goods, checking labels and documentation, performing basic quality and damage checks, and maintaining accurate inventory records. The Forklift Operator supports efficient workflow by staging goods for transport, following site safety and traffic management procedures, and keeping work areas clean and organized. This position works closely with warehouse, transport, and operations teams to ensure timely and accurate handling of client cargo.Qualifications Valid forklift license and demonstrated experience safely operating forklifts and related material-handling equipment.Experience in warehousing or logistics, including loading/unloading freight, pallet handling, and inventory processes.Strong understanding of workplace health and safety practices, including manual handling and safe equipment operation.Basic computer skills and ability to use warehouse systems or handheld devices for scanning and tracking stock.Reliable work ethic, attention to detail, and ability to follow procedures and work instructions accurately.Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team-based environment.Physical capability to perform repetitive lifting, moving, and standing tasks throughout the shift.Previous experience in transport, freight, or 3PL/4PL logistics operations in Australia is beneficial.Availability to work full-time hours, with flexibility for occasional overtime or varying shift times as required.
