People & Culture Business Partner

HR Business Partner | VIC

Join our People & Culture team in a broad, hands-on Business Partner role supporting leaders and employees across Victoria, Tasmania, South Australia and Western Australia.

You’ll work across the full employee lifecycle, including recruitment, employee relations, performance, onboarding, engagement and key People & Culture projects.

What your day will involve….

Your day will fly as you work across all areas of the employee experience and full recruitment lifecycle.

You’ll lead recruitment activities across both white and blue-collar roles throughout Victoria, Tasmania, Western Australia and South Australia, managing the process from sourcing and interviewing through to contracts, onboarding and inductions.

You’ll partner closely with leaders, providing practical advice and support across employee relations, performance management and general People & Culture matters. You’ll also manage key employee lifecycle activities, including employment contracts, onboarding, offboarding and ongoing HR administration.

This role is a genuine mix of recruitment, generalist HR and employee relations. No job is too small — you’ll be comfortable rolling up your sleeves to get things done while balancing competing priorities, tight deadlines and broader People & Culture initiatives.

You’ll also work closely with our broader People & Culture team, including team members based in our Sydney head office, supporting the delivery of projects and initiatives across the business.

Do you tick the boxes?

• You’ll bring at least 5+ years’ experience in a broad People & Culture generalist role, along with a tertiary qualification in Human Resources or a related discipline.

• You have experience across recruitment and know how to engage, influence and build strong relationships with people at all levels.

• You have experience supporting employee relations and performance matters and are comfortable having the more challenging conversations when needed.

• Your communication is spot on — you’re warm, approachable and confident, with the ability to navigate different personalities and put out the occasional fire.

• You’re comfortable juggling multiple priorities without losing attention to detail.

• You have experience working with HRIS platforms and are confident picking up new systems and processes.

• You’re practical, proactive and happy to roll up your sleeves when needed.
