About the role
Are you passionate about the unique and rewarding world of exotic animal medicine? We're seeking an Exotics Veterinarian to join our Flemington clinic.
You'll be part of the largest and most supportive exotics-focused veterinary group in the Southern Hemisphere, working alongside a highly skilled and like-minded team who share knowledge, mentor generously, and genuinely enjoy collaborating. The clinic’s Veterinary Manager, Dr Kiara Simonis, is also a Fellow in Avian Medicine and Surgery, making her one of the small number of avian specialists in the country.
Our national network connects you with an exceptional team of exotic veterinarians across Australia, giving you access to case discussions, advanced diagnostics, and ongoing professional development.
This is an exciting opportunity to practice high-quality exotic medicine within a progressive, well-resourced clinic, supported by a team that values excellence, teamwork, and continued growth.
The successful candidate will:
Work high part-time or full time hours which will include a 1 in 4 weekend rotation.
Have a qualification that allows you to work as a registered veterinarian in Australia and be registered (or able to register) with the Victorian Board of Veterinary Surgeons.
The qualities we are looking for are as follows:
Passionate about working in an exotic pet only practice.
Be striving to offer a high standard of care and want to work with other vets, nurses and techs who are like-minded.
Possess excellent communication skills and enjoy communicating with clients and uphold our gold standard approach to building and maintaining relationships.
Be a team player, with a positive attitude towards work and fellow team members, and strong interpersonal skills.
Hard-working, well organised, efficient, and reliable.
Someone who is looking for a long-term position where you can develop, while we invest in your career with us.
Have interest in undertaking further study and regular CE.
